Wayne’s basement

“Wayne’s basement” is an acoustic trio formed in Shanghai in 2009, composed by two french guitar players and a double-bass player from US, all coming from the local jazz scene. They started performing in a cozy traditional french restaurant, providing live and acoustic music to the customers, and soon extended their concept into the Shanghai’s live clubs such as the JZ Club. Their repertoire is various, from fast tempo swing to samba, waltz to eastern Europe folks, latin jazz to gypsy melodies. “Wayne’s basement” will go on tour in Europe and US this coming summer to promote their first studio album (“What what !?!?” – 2009) recently recorded in Shanghai.
